This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of CloudBaseIndia services. Violations may lead to suspension or termination without refund.
1. Prohibited Content
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance, reported to NCMEC
- Content infringing intellectual property
- Content inciting violence, terrorism, or hate
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
- Phishing pages or fraudulent storefronts
- Malware, exploit kits, or command-and-control servers
2. Prohibited Activities
- Spam (unsolicited email, comment spam, SEO spam)
- Network attacks (DDoS, port scanning, brute force)
- Cryptocurrency mining on shared hosting plans
- Tor exit nodes on shared infrastructure
- High-frequency proxies / open relays
3. Resource Usage
Shared hosting plans are subject to fair-use limits on CPU, RAM, and I/O. Sustained over-use will trigger a recommendation to upgrade to VPS.
4. Email Sending Rules
Maximum 500 outbound emails per hour per shared account. Bulk senders must use a dedicated SMTP relay (SendGrid, Postmark) and maintain a complaint rate under 0.1%.
5. Enforcement
We may suspend immediately for severe violations (CSAM, ongoing attacks). For lesser violations we provide 24 hours' notice to remediate.
6. Reporting Abuse
Report violations to abuse@cloudbaseindia.com. Include URLs, log excerpts, and your contact details. We acknowledge within 24 hours.
7. Updates
This AUP may be updated. Material changes are emailed to active accounts.
